Job Role:

Bid writing is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines.

The Bid Writer will co-ordinate and produce the proposal (RFI, ITT, RFP, etc.) response. Responsibilities include the introduction and implementation of all necessary proposal procedures and processes.

Bid Writer should be able to write effective, concise and compelling content while under pressure sometimes associated with deadlines.

Bid Writer will have experience in creative writing, a qualification (degree or equivalent). Experience of creative writing helps a Bid Writer to construct a bid, which pulls together factual information gleaned from a variety of sources in a format, which is both interesting and comprehensive.

In addition to excellent writing skills, he/she should be able to work with other bid team members.

Core Responsibilities include but not limited to;

·         Delivery of compliant professionally produced proposals within customer-defined timeframes.

·         Drafting presentations.

·         Coordinate and review/edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery.

·         Communicate and influence at a senior level.

·         Document template management in line with company branding.

·         Strong time management/prioritization skills.

·         Organize Tender Alerts and be in charge of full bidding exercise.

·         Carry out research and project work as required.
