Future Drive is seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver specialized in operating electric vehicles. The ideal candidate has a valid driving license, is between 18 and 35 years old, and possesses a good physique to handle the demands of the role. This position requires a hardworking and polite individual who can ensure the safe and efficient transportation of passengers or goods using electric vehicles. With at least two years of driving experience, the driver will be responsible for maintaining the vehicles condition, following traffic regulations, and demonstrating excellent customer service skills during all interactions.
The role focuses on leveraging expertise in electric vehicle operation to support Future Drive's commitment to sustainable transportation solutions. The driver will not manage a team but will play a critical role in meeting delivery schedules, adhering to safety policies, and representing the company positively. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility are essential qualities for ensuring smooth daily operations and enhancing the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate electric vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain knowledge of electric vehicle systems to ensure proper handling and timely reporting of any vehicle issues.
- Perform routine vehicle checks before and after use to confirm good working condition and cleanliness.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to meet schedule requirements and minimize delays.
- Provide courteous and professional service to all passengers or clients during transport.
- Monitor battery levels and coordinate charging schedules to ensure vehicles are ready for use.
- Report any accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle malfunctions immediately to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and maintenance activities as required by the company.
- Assist with loading and unloading items safely when transporting goods, as needed.
- Adhere to company policies regarding punctuality, dress code, and conduct.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic by being reliable, hardworking, and proactive in addressing potential issues.
- Maintain physical fitness and health to meet the demands of the driving position.
