Skills and Knowledge Requirement
- Strong proficiency in MySQL database management
- Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements
- Experience in Database development (table creation, index building)
- Experience in Database programming i.e. Writing Queries, Views, SPs,
- Experience in writing data loading jobs and monitoring using Navicat.
- Expertise in MS Excel (Look ups, Grouping, Subtotals, Pivots)
- Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
- Excellent teamwork skills, ability to self-start, share insights, ask questions, and report progress
Job Responsibilities and Tasks
- Data import and export using different tools.
- Ability to understand different existing reports and move the process from excel to SQL.
- Maintaining and developing new database objects (tables, procedures, functions, views)
- Understanding of existing processes and automation.
- Working and providing support in remote environment.
- Learn new tools/technologies quickly to produce results.
Educational/ Experience Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2+ year of experience in database development.
