Gaba Optical is a Karachi based company retailing a wide range of optical products. We pride ourselves on constantly providing unmatched service, ensuring a buying experience with us is one to remember. We’re a key player in the local retail market and are now further expanding our sales network on e-commerce.
We are looking for an individual at our Karachi office with knowledge of managing an e-commerce website.
A person should have detailed knowledge about latest marketplace procedures to add/update items in bulk using spreadsheets, techniques to increase existing listing's visibility by optimizing descriptions, images and prices etc. to provide better content to our customers.
Necessary training will be provided to selected candidate by industry expert.
Primary Tasks:
- Liaison with Digital Marketing Agency for smooth marketing communication.
- Liaison with Operations department for smooth fulfilment of orders.
- Liaison with the Development team for the smooth running of an ecommerce website.
- Keep listings fresh in terms of content, prices and images
- Should be able to gather information from different channels and modify it to create unique content
- Should be able to do basic photography using the Inhouse High-Resolution Cameras and supporting Equipment.
- Should be able to do basic editing on photoshop.
- Should be able to respond to customer queries on different forums.
Required Skills:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in media sciences from a reputable university.
- One year or more experience would be preferred in a similar domain.
- MS Office
- Internet savvy
- Basic Photography.
- Basic Photoshop.
- Self-Learner - Must be able to work with minimal guidance
- Should have a habit to take responsibilities seriously
- Detail oriented, dedicated and self-motivated individual with the ability to learn and grow
- Must be fluent in speaking Urdu and English.
