Job Description

Duties and responsibilities

Preparing monthly financial statements;
Accounts payable management including verification, allocation, posting, reconciliation and making payments;
Accounts receivable management including verification, allocation, posting, reconciliation of receipts;
Preparing prepayments schedule;
Preparing bank reconciliation statements on monthly basis;
Submission of withholding taxes on payments;
Keeping records of the insurance policies;
Keeping records of the assets of the company in use by employees awarded as part of employment contracts;
Keeping accounting records sufficient to support every material transaction;
Reconciling petty cash accounts on weekly basis and on the last working day of every month;
Communicating with bankers for resolution of day-to-day issues;
Adhoc reporting to the management;
Support month-end and year-end closing process;
Calculation of the profit/loss earned on the investment of funds;
Bring improvements to the process of financial reporting to bring efficiency;

Qualifications

Education
Masters in Finance/Commence, ACCA Member, CA Inter or Equivalent.

Experience: The candidate should have relevant experience of 3+ years.
