The role of the Demand Planner is to develop and facilitate the consensus forecast for the assigned brand. It is a key role for both the Supply Chain and the Brand team, supporting the overall business, financial and supply chain planning for the brands. The role will be located in our Karachi office.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The role of the Supply & Demand Planner will include, but not limited to the following:

Lead the sales forecast process:

• Elaborate the forecast for all regular products

• Collect and challenge sales and marketing & information for new products

• Coordinate and animate the sales forecast validation (demand review and S&OP meetings)

• Ensure the timely and complete upload of the forecast data in the inventory management system

• Control that forecast valuation is in line with the Finance budget data Optimize stock

• Based on forecast, calculate the needs and control the purchase orders accordingly

• Monitor and analyze regional stock levels

• Proactively propose and follow up on stock reduction plans

• Build up future stock levels to anticipate any corrective action

• Communicate timely to Sales and Marketing teams any important deviation Vs initial

forecast (change of availability, the risk of stock out,

• Drive the stock committee with Sales, Marketing and Finance teams

• Manage Replenishment Parameters and support replenishment optimization

• Based on the analysis creates replenishment plan to manage availability.

New Product Forecasting:

• Recommends action for future launches by steering new product pre- & post-launch analysis

based on historical insights (pipeline, replenishment, cannibalization,…) and in close

collaboration with Brands and the Regional Demand Planning team

• Provides visibility on the status of New Launches by owning and managing the New Product

Launch Tracker for the assigned brands.

• Shipment Planning & Execution 10%

• Update Weekly Shipment Forecast and align with Demand Planning

• Calendarize & review with Sales Ops monthly ship plan for the account
