- Proficient at Linux based Systems Administration, including use of best practices for system-level security, configuration management, and performance monitoring of deployed servers.
- Responsible to monitor different cron jobs that are running and act on them in case of failure.
- Responsible to identify critical services and setup monitoring for them (and fix the issues), whenever a new design is implemented.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP Networking
- Responsible to monitor critical services/APIs in current system and act in case of failure.
- Network performance monitoring and troubleshooting the issues related networks.
- Administration of Virtualized infrastructure for non-production/production environments
- Provide Systems Engineering support to Software Engineering and IT operations team.
- System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
- Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server failures and authentication/authorization problems.
- Handle as-needed support requests for infrastructure issues (disk full, network connectivity, failed daemons, etc.)
- Work in a very exciting, rapid prototype and agile development environment.
