•         Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations.
  •         Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
  •         Undertaking small- to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the Directors.
  •         Manage IT team by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
  •         Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures and take approval from Directors.
  •         Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
  •         Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
  •         Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time with approval from directors.
  •         Audit systems and assess their outcomes with the assistance of team members.
  •         Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
  •         Handle budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
  •         Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
  •         Troubleshoot issues and outages.
  •         Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls and design SOPs for approval and implementation.
  •         Align Team for upgrade systems with new releases and models.
  •         Develop expertise to train team members on new technologies.
  •         Conduct POCs with team members for new products for performance optimization.
  •         Coordinate with vendors for hardware / software queries, Coordinate with ISPs for optimizations.
  •         Approve new configurations for routers, switches, firewalls and servers for performance optimization.
  •         Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
  •         Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work with respect to the approvals from Directors.
  •         Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance.
  •         Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.
  •         Maintains I.T. records and tracking for area of responsibility.
  •         Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
