Software Engineer - PHP

GADITEK is in search of a Software Engineer (PHP) who thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment while working on complex problems with a talented team — conceptualizing, developing and implementing applications and features from scratch using the latest technologies.

This role requires a creative technology team member. Someone who is responsible for high-quality delivery of a range of projects, leveraging their skills in PHP. We need someone who has the technical experience and loves to focus on iteratively building and improving existing and new products, is self-motivated and inspired to explore new vistas, and will both support and lead initiatives that will take us to new levels of excellence.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, testing (with QA department), maintaining, enhancing and optimizing web applications with high volumes of traffic and high availability. We’re looking for someone who is self-reliant, laser-focused believes in rapid execution, and will create software solutions in PHP that humanizes technology and delivers solutions that solve complex problems, simply and seamlessly.

Once you are here, you will:

• Build highly-available, highly-performant, redundant, scalable distributed systems
• Write code that is performant, maintainable, clear, and concise
• Work closely with operations and infrastructure to improve the architecture while building and scaling back-end services
• Collaborate and work with Product owners, developers, marketing team, operation team and system engineers ( Sys-Admins ) within SCRUM framework
• Design, develop, test (with QA department), maintain, enhance and optimize web applications with high volumes of traffic and high availability. Self-reliant programming and assistance in the design and implementation of complex, dynamic Internal projects
• Work with and explore multiple technologies on multiple projects.
• Work with challenging deadlines.
• Help with standardization of toolsets we use for our development.

• Relevant Experience:
• At least 3-5 Years’ experience in Web Development.
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Highly skilled in PHP, MYSQL, AJAX and Jquery.
• Experience in Dealing with MVC Frameworks, latest web technologies and version control.
• Knowledge of Cloud and DevOps will be a plus.
• Working experience with Symfony, SMARTY, backbone.js, MongoDB will be a bonus
• Knowledge of XHTML, HTML5, CSS.
• An interest in working with real Agile team.
• Good attitude and cooperative behaviour with leadership qualities is strongly desired.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with minimum supervision required.
• Innovative and creative in his approach.
• Ability to write and test secure, clean and well-commented (documented) code.
