Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory.
- Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures.
- Inspect the levels of supplies and material to identify shortages.
- Monitor daily deliveries to reconcile inventory.
- Analyze data to anticipate future needs.
- Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
- Counter-checking of receiving.
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
- Ensure that the warehouse operates are at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction the primary goal by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring and managing operational goals.
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory and gate processes.
- Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity and customer service.
Relevant Experience:
- Must be MBA from a reputable university with 3-4 years of experience in the relevant field.
