In a Nutshell:
Gaditek is searching for a passionate engineer to join us as a Principal R&D engineer. In this role, you will be working with multiple engineering teams and putting your skillset to the test in a cross-functional environment, overlapping Software Development, DevOps, and data analysis.
Once you are here, you will:
- Assist the Product Development team and Network Infrastructure team by solving complex technical problems.
- Create automation frameworks
- Modify an opensource library
- Configure the network nodes requiring learning a whole new protocol
- Develop a network monitoring tool
- Troubleshoot a problem that might require data analysis, scripting and automation

Relevant Experience:
Experience
- 5 or more years of professional experience in C, C++, Java or Python
- Demonstrable Experience in TCP/IP Sockets and multi-threaded programming
- Proficiency in Linux Programming
- Proficiency with dockers and containers
- Understanding of Public-key cryptography, digital certificates
- Experience with OpenSSL and PKI
- Experience with GNU Toolchain and cross-platform compilation
- Experience with open-source libraries
- Experience with MongoDB and Redis
- The ability to quickly comprehend complex business processes and existing systems' architecture, and propose efficient solutions to tough problems
- An aptitude for debugging, mathematics, problem-solving and mastering new languages and APIs in a short time span
- Outstanding written and oral English communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- The ability and desire to work autonomously
Nice to have
- Experience with squid is a plus
- Experience with ElasticSearch is a plus
