- Review and update supply chain practices (SOPs) in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations or laws.
- Ensure that all procurement process outcomes are documented; oversee compliance with all procurement policies, processes and procedures and governance frameworks.
- Plan, lead, organize and control Procurement activities such as bid process, cost (budget) and inventory, negotiation contract, resolving claims and complaint etc.
- Develop procedures for coordination of Procurement management with other functional areas, such as plant, marketing, finance, institutes or quality assurance.
- Train and mentor Procurement employees.
- Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the procurement perspective.
- Approve all Purchase requests with respect to comparative statements.
- Appraise vendor ability through on-site visits and measurements.
- Actively contribute to the Group Procurement culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.
- Provide & manage system documentation approvals, procurement schedule and ensure program conflict resolution is resolved.
- Provide advice on procurement matters to the business during planning and strategic activities.
- Compare proposals for price and specifications.
- Negotiate with vendors to reduce costs.
- Lead transformational activities to build procurement organizational capabilities and improve procurement efficiency.
