Job Summary: Evercare Hospital Lahore, a project of Gate Healthcare 1 Pak (Private) Limited is an emerging 270 bedded multi-specialty facility located near Wapda Town, Lahore, Pakistan. The hospital will be commencing operations in Q3 2018, and is part of an international healthcare group whose mission is to provide quality healthcare to the aspiring middle classes in Pakistan, through investment in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Dietary Counseling, Current Health Plan & Dietary Restrictions by calorie count method (BMR & BMI).
· Consult with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patient.
· Counsel patients on nutrition issues and healthy eating habits.
· Prepares menu plan, food selection & preparation of food to patient as well as attendants.
· Develop policies for food services or nutritional programs to assist in health promotion & disease control.
· write reports and case notes and maintain accurate records
· Monitor food service operations to ensure conformance to nutritional, safety, sanitation and quality standards.
· Provided medical nutrition therapy to dialysis patients.
· Special dietary care of post-op patients.
Eligibility Criteria:
· Bachelor Degree in Diet and Nutrition Sciences from recognized Institute.
· Minimum of 1 years’ service as Nutritionist / Clinical Dietician or 1 year traineeship in a recognized hospital.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Willingness to work in shift duties.
