University of South Asia is looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineers to join our team. The ideal candidates should possess strong skills in building robust, scalable and efficient APIs & Web Applications with a preference for experience using Django
What You will Do:
- Design and develop RESTful APIs to support complex applications.
- Implement efficient, scalable and secure backend systems to handle large-scale traffic with low latency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the backend services with front-end applications.
- Maintain and optimize existing database systems.
- Write clean, well-documented and maintainable code.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software engineering.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 month to 1.5 years of experience in software development with a focus on backend systems.
- Strong experience with Django and building API using Python or any other stack.
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
- Excellent understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git, Bit Bucket).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience with any web development stack
- Quick learner and keen for learning new technologies.
