Team Gazuntite is looking for a senior Java developer to be a part of our Product Development team. Candidate should be able to demonstrate the maturity expected from a senior development resource, in terms of best coding practices, requirements analysis and version control. Good problem solving and communication skills are required.
Required Skills:
- software design and development in Java and J2EE (EJB, JDBC, JSP/JTL)
- Must be proficient with Spring and Hibernate
- Must be an expert with MySQL databases, SQL and Linux/Unix Shell scripting
- Experience with development and deployment of Enterprise/Web applications. (Tomcat, Apache, jBOSS) in both Windows and Linux environments
- Experience building high-performance Java systems, performance tuning, and stress and load testing
- Experience with IVR and Interactive Text Response Applications will be a plus
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Familiarity with MVC frameworks
- Understand Restful API practices, JSON
- Must have strong object-oriented analysis & design skills
- Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git is required
- Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, EBS) and administration console
- Experience with payment PayPal, stripe, Authorize.net, Magento will be a plus
- Experience with Node.js and npm will be a plus
Responsibilities:
- Must have complete dedication and commitment towards assigned work
- Ensure delivery of Quality Artifacts on time
- Report development status in time. Highlight any foreseeable risks
- Work independently and as part of the team
- Responsible for unit testing of all produced artifacts
