The incumbent will be responsible for updating and implementing Organization’s Innovation strategy, steering the Innovation initiatives and overseeing the Knowledge Management function of the organization. By supporting the discovery, development and scale up of innovative interventions, the person shall be able to present practical ideas to reduce the costs of delivery and increase efficiency. The individual will also be responsible for managing the internal & external sourcing of innovative interventions and facilitate solutions that add value and increase efficiency of organization and its partners’ service delivery. Furnish substantive inputs and technical support to other departments. Provide policy support and thought leadership on Innovation through quality research. Besides, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and taking forward Funds created by the organization from time to time.

The ideal candidate should possess Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Management, Social Sciences, International Development or other relevant discipline from a top ranking HEC recognized national or international university. The person will preferably have 10 years’ relevant experience in a national/international development sector organization. The ideal person should have understanding of the startup ecosystem, a background in rural development and ability to think, foster and support innovative approaches, interventions and ideas. Be able to assess risk and measure social impact. The incumbent must be respectful of a wide range of faiths, beliefs and experiences. Possess a high level of interpersonal skills to deal effectively with the stakeholders. He/she must be a team player, system thinker, goal driven, innovative and action oriented individual. Should have strong analytical, interpersonal and written & verbal communication skills.
