Key Responsibilities of Head Logistics:
· Strategize, plan, and execute action plans to ensure that the school’s physical resources and facilities are available and ready up to an optimum level for the continuation of teaching & learning activity each day the school is functioning,
· Strategize, plan, and take all practical steps to ensure safety & security of human and material resources across the school,
· Strategize, plan and implement campus development and maintenance plans to ensure smooth functioning of school-wide technical and operational systems and provide for the acquisition of the needed systems and construction of the required infrastructure,
· Prepare and monitor operational, security and campus development budgets,
· Keep abreast of industry best practices and legal requirements relating to operations management, workplace safety & security, building bye-laws, terms of employment standing orders, protection of women and children and information security,
· Monitor, evaluate and assure effective day to day functioning of operations & housekeeping, campus safety & security and campus development & maintenance departments and provide guidance and support to their Managers and the Incharges,
· Document policies, SOPs, guidelines, SLAs, and checklists to provide direction, share best practices and set standards of evaluation,
· Understand and evaluate undesirable situations, employ problem-solving techniques and implement time and cost-efficient solutions,
· Develop reports for effective monitoring and evaluation of direct reports and day to day functioning of operations & housekeeping, campus safety & security and campus development & maintenance departments,
· Provide information and reports to school administration on key operations, security, and campus infrastructure metrics.
Skills that we look for:

- Attention to details with a keen eye for housekeeping and safety & security.
- Capacity to think at both operational and strategic levels.
- Experience of leading and managing teams with 100+ people in operations, administration or logistics functions.
- Technology skills and experience of doing documentation in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Drive.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Certifications and courses in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), First Aid, Firefighting & Civil Defence, Child Protection, Labour Laws and Building Safety are advantageous but not mandatory.
