Job Description
Genius Tech Solutions is looking an experienced WordPress Team Lead must have 2-3 year of experience on WordPress / PHP as the job requires, we are looking for a potential candidate for Karachi Office. Other cities' candidates can't apply. We are looking for a bright, energetic individual who: Can work independently and has the ability to handle multiple projects Write clean, scalable code programming languages Test and deploy applications and systems. Must be very good in custom WordPress development.
Required Skills:
- Experience in WordPress development Plugins, Themes, Add-ons, Hooks, and Filter-Based
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
- Experience in building user interfaces for websites and web applications
- Experience in designing and developing responsive design websites
- Ability to develop new plugins as per requirements.
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as WordPress, Laravel.)
- Knowledge of shopping carts e.g.: Magento, WooCommerce, OpenCart is Plus
- Experience of working HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JS, Angular JS, JQuery.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of existing WordPress based platforms
- Ensuring high-performance and availability of the platforms at all times
- Management of all technical aspects of content management platforms
- Troubleshooting and debugging coding errors in WordPress themes and plugin
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality into WordPress themes and Plugins
- Formulating an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin
WordPress Required Skills:
- A minimum 4-year experience of PHP programming, MySQL, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
- Ability to write clean, solid, scalable code
- Experience of PHP and OOP beneficial
- Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites using the best practice & de-facto standard plugins.
- Knowledge of testing across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices
- Understanding of client-side scripting, js frameworks, incl jquery
- Knowledge of proficient understanding of web mark-up, especially HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level:
- Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions
- Creation of custom post types
- Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform with the WordPress coding standards
- Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code
- Theme/Template integration
- Knowledge of WordPress Network (Multisite) beneficial
- Experience creating multi-lingual websites Advantageous
- Knowledge and experience of web accessibility
- Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser
- PHP5, MySQL5, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Responsive Design
- Cross-Browser/Cross-Platform Design
- WordPress Plug-in development and customization
- WordPress Theme Concepts
- woo commerce & E-commerce platforms implementation experience
- Magento knowledge is plus
- Drupal knowledge is plus
