- GFC Group Is looking for well experienced professional to provide pragmatic environmental & social risk management advise for reviewing planning, monitoring, site verification and undertaking feasibility checks of small to medium sized infrastructure projects, with focus on short term NGO - implemented projects, and thereby contributing to the smooth implementation of projects within a stabilization context.
- The candidate must be holder of an advanced degree (post graduate degree) in engineering/ ecology / environmental sciences / natural recourse management or an other relevant discipline with at least 10 years' professional experience in developing and conducting trainings related to social and environmental standards.
- The candidate must be well familiar with the application of relevant national and international environment and social risk management standards and practices including those of the IFC.
- Excellent English language and communication skills are required.The position (09/18 - 12/19 with a possible extension) is Islamabad Pakistan based and will require regular visit to Afghanistan, Tajikistan and to Baluchistan, and the KP and FATA regions in Pakistan.
