Boiler Engineer

GH2 Industries Pvt. Ltd seeks a skilled Boiler Engineer with seven years of solid experience in high-pressure boiler operation and maintenance. The ideal candidate possesses a valid 1st Class Boiler Engineer Competency Certificate and demonstrates thorough knowledge of steam systems, water treatment, and boiler safety standards. This role involves operating and monitoring high-pressure boilers and auxiliary systems to ensure efficient and safe steam generation, along with conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities. Working closely with process and turbine requirements, the Boiler Engineer maintains operational excellence while ensuring compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations. In addition to technical expertise, the Boiler Engineer will supervise and guide a team of four persons, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The position requires proficiency in troubleshooting boiler equipment and implementing system diagnostics to minimize downtime. The role also entails coordinating with multiple departments to ensure uninterrupted utility operations and supporting both internal and external inspections and audits. Familiarity with control systems such as DCS and PLC and the ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals are advantageous for success in this position.
Responsibilities

Operate and continuously monitor high-pressure boilers and auxiliary steam generation systems to maintain optimal performance and safety.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and thorough performance checks to ensure reliability and efficient steam system operations.
Maintain accurate operational logs, maintenance records, and statutory documentation in compliance with boiler regulations and company policies.
Troubleshoot and repair boiler equipment promptly to reduce downtime and maintain continuous plant operation.
Supervise, mentor, and coordinate a team of four boiler operators and maintenance staff to achieve high performance and safety standards.
Manage steam generation and distribution activities, aligning closely with process requirements and turbine operations for optimal system integration.
Implement and uphold safety, health, and environmental protocols, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards at all times.
Collaborate effectively with other departments to support continuous utility operations, ensuring seamless plant functioning.
Support and facilitate internal and external inspections and audits, addressing any identified issues with corrective actions.
Follow established safe procedures for boiler start-up, operation, and shutdown to minimize risk and maintain compliance.
Apply knowledge of water treatment processes and boiler efficiency improvement practices to optimize system performance and energy conservation.
Interpret and utilize technical drawings, manuals, and control system interfaces such as DCS and PLC for efficient system operation and troubleshooting.
