We are looking for a candidate well suited for the position of Production planning consultant.
The candidate will be mainly responsible for Project Management & designing, building and deploying SAP based ERP solutions; leading analysis and design in the SAP PP area. His expertise is needed in SAP implementation projects and providing sustainable business solutions.
He would also be responsible for quality assurance of suggested solution from consultant.
Modules: PP, PM, SD, CO, MM, QM
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP PP, PM, SD, CO, MM & QMBeing Project Manager: o Ensure that project milestones are keenly monitored, controlled, validated & reported.
- Demonstrate the technical areas in his area of expertise along with focus on critical success factors & risk factors.
- Ensure alignment & direction of implementation with project objectives.
- Ensure that meeting proceedings are properly recorded, circulated and followed up for closure.
- Manage the team with respect to individual roles & responsibilities.
- Ensure that risk associated with project are properly documented, highlighted, reported and resolved adequately.
- Ensure that power users are actively involved and deliverables are endorsed by Head Power users.
- Ensure that Backup plan exist incase of PMO resources and power users throughout the implementation.
- Ensure that deliverables are signed-off by process owner.
- Endorse detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and helps identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements by consultant.
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
- Responsible for quality assurance on the solution design proposed by consultant and highlight the area where business process reengineering is required.
- Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.
- Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues;Ensure that Test scenarios & UAT is being done & documented properly.
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
- Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
Qualifications
- Graduate or post-graduate preferably in supply chain management.
- Consultant level global certification in SAP- PP.
- Accounting Background is plus point
- PMP certified is plus point
Experience
Experience includes working on at least two projects of SAP-PP or related SAP SCM modules including MM and SD
