The Senior Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities for solar PV installations, ensuring project execution aligns with technical specifications, timelines, safety standards, and quality requirements. This role involves supervising construction crews, coordinating with project stakeholders, resolving on-site issues, and ensuring efficient progress and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead on-site installation and commissioning of commercial and industrial-scale solar PV systems.
Coordinate day-to-day operations, monitor site progress, and ensure compliance with design drawings, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and safety audits; address non-conformance and escalate critical issues.
Maintain daily site reports including labor, material usage, work progress, and incident reports.
Ensure Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies are enforced; conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Coordinate testing and commissioning activities and support handover documentation.
Communicate progress and site updates regularly to senior management.
Qualification & Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
Minimum 5–7 years of site supervision experience in solar PV installation projects, preferably including utility-scale systems.
Strong understanding of solar PV systems, electrical installations, and relevant codes and standards.
Knowledge of HSE procedures and compliance in construction environments.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient in reading technical drawings, site documentation, and using basic project management tools.
Willingness to travel and work at remote project sites as required.
