Gillan eSolutions is in search of a Web and Digital Designer to join our growing team! We will be looking for you to conceptualize, design, and build websites for major appliance, bedding, furniture, and electronics brand dealers. Do you have a passion for beautiful, effective design and the skill of the graphic to execute your visions? Do you geek out over pixel perfection at every breakpoint? Can you work quickly and effectively, whether collaborating with teammates or working independently? If so, we are looking for you!
Responsibilities:
Complete projects/tasks such as maintaining websites, building websites, creating landing pages, website banners, and banner ads for Digital Campaigns
Work with Art Directors and Team Leads on creative direction and refinement
Work with Experience Director on user research and usability
Have weekly meetings with the Design Team to discuss ideas and current work. Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
BA in graphic/web design/ Arts/ Computer Science
3 years min experience in design
A strong eye for design
A cool head under pressure
Thorough knowledge and ability with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign a plus!.
Must be detail-oriented
Have a strong design portfolio demonstrating Web pages, Logos, Brochures and Banner ad work
Must know principles of Responsive Web Design
The ability to manage multiple deadlines on various projects at a time
Have great follow-up on projects and deliverables
The ability to take and apply creative direction and criticism from Art Directors, Leads, and Team Members
Email Marketing a plus!
