As a Freelance Content Writer you will be assigned to an exciting portfolio of different categories and products. In this role you will be expected to
- Conducting research and developing an understanding of supplier products in order to produce quality written content
- Writing, reviewing and editing engaging and persuasive copy for online product pages
- Creative writing and publising for the blog using WordPress, developing original content ideas generally a month in advance;
- Social media posts on FaceBook, Instagram, and Twitter
- Ensuring that accurate, reliable and comprehensive information has been included in all products, brands, categories and across the entire site in order to guarantee our customers a rich shopping experience
This is a freelance opportunity so you will be setting your own hours to work. However, prompt communications and adhering to deadlines is a critical component for a successful and long term role.
- Access to emails and whatsapp is essential for the role.
- Correct English grammar and following briefs are an absolute must.
- SEO knowledge is highly preferable
- Must show published work samples (blog posts, web content, product descriptions etc...)
- Interest in tech gadgets and general household accessories is appreciated
- Can write in a conversational tone
- Can work with Google Cloud (Google sheets, docs, etc...)
