We are looking for a Network Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation.
- Proven experience as a network administrator.
- Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching.
- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.
- Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.
- Ability to set up and configure server hardware.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
- Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking.
Qualification & Skills
- A Master’s degree in Computer Software Engineering with 3 years of Experience as Application Engineer.
- Network System Analysis, Design, and implementation.
- LAN, WAN, Cisco firewall, VLAN and modulated switched, Sniffers
- File Server & ISA, Active Directory, DNS, IIS, and WINS, DHCP, FTP, SQL
- Mdaemon, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, VOIP
- Configure VPN, Antivirus Server & Client System, Enterprise Backup, Antivirus, and Anti-spam.
- Images, additional server & Wireless Networking, Networking, Firewalls, Wireless Switch configuration, Site-to-Site VPNs. Maintain computer terminals, laptops and other IT infrastructure equipment within all offices.
- Managing and trouble shooting in organization (Windows Servers Enterprise & Standard Editions
- Managing SAN, NAS
- Experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software
- Installed, Configured and Monitored the Windows 2000, 2003, 2008, XP, Win7, Win8 Servers and Clients.
- Configured and Managed CISCO & Switches Routers.
- Worked on Ethernet, LAN Switching, VLANs, WAN Interface Configuration, WAN Technologies.
- CCTV Security cameras & DVR.Nvr
- IP camera installation and configuration.
- LPR and Face recognition.
- Fully supporting, configuring, maintaining and upgrading corporate customer’s networks and in house servers
- Installing and integrating new server hardware and applications
- Keeping an eye out for needed updates
Responsibilities
- Support and administer third-party applications
- Ensure network security and connectivity
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
- Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
- Resolve problems reported by end user
- Define network policies and procedures
- Specify system requirements and design solutions
- Research and make recommendations on server system administration
- CCTV Cameras Installation, setting up NVR, DSS and Backups.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Fiber Optic Laying, splicing and configurations for Data networks as well for CCTV surveillance.
- Managing MDaemon, Outlook, Creating Email Accounts etc.
