Generous Tax free basic salary. From 5600QAR up to 10250 QAR per month.                                                                                          

10250 QAR is +/- 34000 (South-African Rand), 2300 EUR , 2000 GBP , 3700 CAD.  Salary paid in QAR.                      

Free fully furnished accommodation provided.

Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.

Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).

40 days paid annual vacation days.

End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION:2 year Dental Assistant Diploma. EXPERIENCE: Minimum: 1 year licensed dental experience. LICENSE: Valid Primary License from the country of origin if applicable AND should be eligible for license in the State of Qatar within the Supreme Council of Health. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Fluent in English - Oral and Written.

Job Specification

Position Summary

Provide necessary chair side assistance to the dentist in all aspect of dental procedures, to deliver a good quality oral heath care to the patients. Ensure that armamentarium for the specific procedure is sterile and prepared at hand before the patient enters the clinic.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Prepares, sterilizes, organizes and set up dental equipment, ensures that dental instruments are cleaned, dated and processed according to established clinical guidelines.

2. Preparation of operatory room and setting of instruments before the treatment starts in between patients and after the procedures.

3.Provides chair side assistance to dentists in the performance of dental procedures, to include operative, preventive, periodontal, pedodontic, endodontic, prosthetic ,orthodontic and/or oral maxillo facial surgical procedures.

4. Develops and processes dental radiographs in accordance with provided orders, assist in the monitoring and maintenance of radiation safety procedures and protocols.

5. Recording, charting and planning of appointments.

6. Prevention and management of dental emergencies.

7. Pre and postoperative care of patients and appropriate oral hygiene instructions (tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling).

8. Maintains dental laboratory slips and creates and maintains dental records in accordance with established protocols and procedures.

9. Monitors and maintains dental equipment and instruments (lubricates, cleans, flushes and drains equipments, reporting of defective equipments).

10. Orders and maintains inventories of dental supplies.
