- Ensure timely arrangement for testing of incoming raw materials, in process and final product according to the established / approved specifications and schedule the daily working of the Quality Control Laboratories and assigning of duties to the fellow Analysts.
- To develop and implement proper methods for the laboratory reagent preparation and standardization of volumetric solutions.
- To make arrangement for the maintenance of inventory of laboratory glass ware, reagent /chemical and realize the need for procurement as and when required.
- To investigate abnormal / failing test results, OOS investigation and prepare report. Assistant Manager Quality Control will act as Lab. Supervisor.
- Is responsible for the proper maintenance of log books of all lab equipments.
- To manage Reference standards / in-house working standards and ensure their validity as per SOP.
- To make arrangement for proper storage and handling of laboratory chemicals and hazardous material.
- Is responsible to observe GLP and safety requirements in chemical section of Quality Control Laboratory.
- Is responsible to make arrangements for the Analytical Method Validation, Process Validation and Cleaning Validation in liaison with Validation department.
- To plan and conduct on going stability studies of all products and maintain proper stability records.
- To monitor all of the analytical activities performed by the concerned analysts.
- To make Standard operating Procedure, Standard Analytical Procedure and all computer generated reports of analysis on daily basis.
- Is responsible for the smooth working of chemical section and to keep related instruments in good running condition.
