Globosoft is looking to hire a billing & accounting officer for a USA based client. This position requires to work from evening to mid-night.
The ability to multi-task while paying close attention to details is a must. The primary function of this position is to perform a range of clerical and routine accounting functions using ledgers and accounting software to record and process receipts, expenditures and other financial transactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Enter financial data into computer system using defined computer programs.
2. Update, verify and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other financial records.
3. Receive and process deposit activities.
4. Enter, Process and Follow payment requests and invoices in accounts receivable.
5. Payment posting and account reconciliations.
6. Perform account analysis.
7. Follow up calls/ emails with vendors on the payments.
8. Maintain orderly financial filing system.
9. Prepare and process payroll
SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Excellent English speaking skills (preferable American English)
· Ability to read and interpret instructions, policies and procedures
· Understanding of accounting terminology and functions (preferable US standards)
· Hands on experience on Quickbooks online
· Typing skills to perform assigned tasks with accuracy
· Has knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and Windows
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
· Ability to focus on details, meet deadlines, and manage time
· Customer Service Skills (preferable American customers)
· Strong work ethics, self-motivated and very organized
