As Manager/ AM Collections team, you will be responsible for reducing account receivable delinquency in accordance with company requirements and making sure your team maintains and meets commitments. You will manage the team tasked with the key function of client/agent outreach on outstanding down payments and installments to ensure receipt by the due date to avoid delinquency. In addition to that, you will effectively ensure that all record of received payments is updated with relevant internal stakeholders and leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Assign daily, weekly and monthly targets and report on them to leadership.
  • Ensure team actively follow ups on assigned clients/agents.
  • Keep track of team performance and correspondence.
  • Perform outreach client phone calls and emails with tricky agents and clients.
  • Develop, evaluate and maintain scenarios to make sure a standardized approach to outreach and minimal impact on relationships.
  • Ensure receivables information is correct and up to date before assignment.
  • Proactively highlighting data inconsistencies and issues before outreach.
  • Proposing and innovating outreach strategies to ensure maximum recovery of payments due.
  • Provide verbal and/or written billing explanations to client/sales/leadership.
  • Promptly and precisely process correspondence and confirmations with internal teams.
  • Assist with the escalation of key issues to senior management to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all client feedback regarding invoice receipt and or payment, if provided is accurately and precisely documented.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting as necessary.

Candidate Experience:

  • At least 4 – 6 years of prior experience of customer services/ collections or order management
  • Prior experience of working in different CRM tools
  • Ability to shift gears and manage conversations and commitments with agents and clients
  • Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone
  • Strong analytical and problem solving/research skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge to intermediate of MS Office, particularly MS Excel (Pivot tables, V/H Look-ups)
  • Ability to lead and independently work as a contributing member as required to meet team targets
  • Intermediate to advanced research and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, on and off-site
  • Ability to work both independently and lead projects as well as a team-member
  • Positive work attitude
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and shifting priorities
