Plan, develop and implement scheme strategies in liaison with scheme committees and steering groups
- Represent and promote schemes at industry events to increase membership and access to assurance services
- Liaise with retailers, scheme customers, potential members and stakeholders to raise awareness and access to assurance services
- Communicate with members on a regular basis on specific issues, and draft content for company service updates and other company communications.
- Deal with technical queries from members, associates and internally. Standards / service maintenance and technical reviews
- Manage third party certification bodies and auditors
- Work with internal company teams on scheme marketing and communications
- Develop, implement and maintain technical content on company website
- Provide information to company Senior Leadership Team, Council and Board
- Support company policy team by obtaining feedback and responses from members to industry wide issues or specific consultations
Requirements:
- Project management
- Effective written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
- Previous experience within the certification schemes, assurance services or third-party auditing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- An eye for detail with the ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and within a small team.
- IT Literate with demonstrable knowledge of MS Office including Outlook.
- Educated to degree level in horticulture or a related discipline.
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in horticulture, botany, natural sciences or a related field
