This role demands at least five years of relevant experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to leverage technology for efficient store management.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the food store, including receiving, storing, and issuing food products in compliance with company policies and food safety regulations.
- Lead and supervise a team of two staff members, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a productive work environment.
- Coordinate vendor relationships and manage vendor agreements to ensure timely delivery, accurate order fulfillment, and cost-effective purchasing.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels using inventory management systems and warehouse management software, minimizing stock shortages and overstock situations.
- Ensure all food products meet quality and safety standards through routine inspections and adherence to food safety compliance protocols.
- Implement visual merchandising techniques to maximize product visibility and appeal, enhancing customer experience and driving sales.
- Oversee supply chain processes to optimize product flow, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency within the store.
- Utilize inventory management software to analyze stock trends, prepare reports, and forecast future inventory needs accurately.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for receiving, storing, and issuing goods to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Collaborate with other departments and management to align store operations with broader organizational goals and objectives.
