Job: Third Shift (6PM – 3AM

Business Systems Analyst

Experience in Financial and Collection industries will be preferred.

  • SQL - Strong MS SQL Server skills in Stored Procedure development, database design and DDL, query debugging, query performance and improvement
  • Team leadership/people management -  Management and hiring experience of Developers and onboarded new developers, providing them informal feedback as well as formal annual reviews, etc.
  • Broad Responsibilities – Be able to provide reports/presentations to  leadership/executives  as software development director, primary technical liaison to our corporate clients, sales engineer and vendor management, to more technical roles such as a developer, performance analyst, and applications security analyst. Willing to take one whatever needs to be done and jump in where necessary.
  • BPO – Be able to work as team lead of BPO, corporate clients, many of which were large companies with varied technology and business needs.
  • ETL – Be able to manage processing of data from plenty of data feeds to and from these corporate clients. These involve several different formats (delimited, fixed-length, XML, etc.) that we needed to manage and support. Recommend improvement of process of receiving these client files (purchased a Managed File Transfer software package which contained SSH and PGP keystores, provided scripting capabilities, etc.) as well as the performance of the intake processing (went from a cursor-based to a set-based process)
  • Call Center – Be able to handle the customer inquiries. The SaaS application integrated with Interactive Intelligence's Customer Interaction Center, now Genesys Pure Connect. Although he was briefly involved in maintaining the handlers used by the system, he was responsible for maintaining the data access queries used by the IVR as the database grew and evolved
  • Reporting – Be able to generate the Crystal Reports and SAP Business Objects for formatted client reporting. Also produced custom-formatted, raw data files to report transactional data (reimbursements for corporate payroll, usage by employees, imputed taxable transactions, etc.) back to clients
  • Programmer background – Be able to do programming in different environments and languages, and has strong problem-solving skills, pay strong attention to details, and can work at a code level with developers when the situation calls for it.
  • Python and Data Science – Be able to build database and SQL skills set in the Python programming, data wrangling and analysis, and in programming with data science and machine learning libraries.
