Job Description:
- The ideal candidate's favorite words are learning, data and agility.
- You will leverage your strong collaboration skills and ability to extract valuable insights from large data sets those are in Excel files.
- The ideal candidate is detail oriented, willing to adapt to their work environment and solutions oriented.
- Your attention to detail will assist you in completing quality assurance tasks as well as preparing large data sets to be sent to vendors for lettering and email distribution.
- Your knowledge of Excel and basic understanding of databases and SQL will help you complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Daily tasks for this position require beginner level database knowledge.
- Detailed training and instructions for each task as well as readymade SQL queries and stored procedures will be provided to complete the tasks.
- The candidate will be expected to pull data from SQL database using stored procedures, clean the data using the quality assurance instructions and training and then submit the files using an FTP server.
Responsibilities
- Preparing large data sets daily
- Performing quality assurance on data sets created by others
- Time-management and prioritizing certain tasks based on urgency
- Using stored procedures and readymade queries to run reports on SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Maintain data confidentiality
- Understand data formatting in excel
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of Programming languages like SQL, HTML, Python etc. is a plus but NOT required.
- Proficiency in Excel is required
