Job brief
We are looking for outstanding Umbraco Web Developers for permanent employment at our Islamabad office (during Covid it is a work from home role). We are a UK agency and are seeking people with an appetite for work who thrive in a fast-paced environment, can learn rapidly and are eager to master diverse web technologies and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies / industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Work UK 9am-5:30pm hours (or could be CET 9am-5:30pm).
Requirements
- Hands-on development experience with .Net Core, ASP.NET, C # and .NET Framework with at least 2 years experience working on Umbraco CMS
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
- Good knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be willing to travel internationally if, as and when required
- Must be fluent in English
- Must have excellent personable skills as the role will require integrating, working and participating in daily stand-ups as part of other agencies teams
- Front-end experience is a plus but not necessity
