GreenMax Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Territory Manager skilled in Sales Management, Distribution Channel Management, Territory Planning, Market Analysis, and Market Research. This role requires a candidate with at least five years of relevant experience in managing distribution channels or working within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. The ideal candidate will lead and oversee a team of 20 individuals to drive sales growth, expand market presence, and optimize distribution operations within the assigned territory. This position demands a proactive professional who can analyze market trends, develop effective strategies, and execute plans to meet company objectives while maintaining strong relationships with clients and distributors. The Territory Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end distribution activities, ensuring proper coordination among different stakeholders, and achieving sales targets. They will conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and address potential challenges. The role involves continuous evaluation and enhancement of distribution channels, ensuring timely product availability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective territory sales plans aligned with company goals and sales targets.
  • Manage and motivate a team of 20 sales and distribution personnel to achieve maximum productivity and results.
  • Oversee distribution channel operations to ensure efficient product delivery and market coverage.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and industry research to identify emerging trends and new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential distributors, retailers, and key customers.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as marketing, logistics, and customer service to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
  • Monitor sales performance regularly, analyze data, and provide detailed reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Identify challenges within the territory and develop strategic solutions to overcome obstacles and improve sales outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all distribution and sales activities.
  • Train, mentor, and provide continuous support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Plan and conduct regular field visits to evaluate channel performance, gather market intelligence, and provide hands-on leadership.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Drive new product launches and promotional activities within the territory to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms and take proactive steps to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor campaigns specific to the unique needs of the territory and target markets.
