Opportunity for a passionate eCommerce/Digital Marketing Manager to drive sales & growth in an established leading eCommerce business. An exciting role, focused on implementing & driving the marketing strategy including sales, customer journey, and loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive digital marketing and ecommerce strategy
  • Partner closely with wider brand and channel marketing teams to drive an optimised, cohesive omnichannel customer experience and maximise brand awareness
  • Incubate eCommerce function and scale rapidly, driving exponential growth
  • Manage new and existing eCommerce platform(s), engaging with technology stakeholders on further development to generate incremental sales
  • Monitor, analyse and report on the overall ecommerce sales, site performance, conversion rates, traffic and media (ROAS), across products, pages and customer segments and be able to explain business drivers behind numbers and fluctuations
  • Drive a best-in-class shopping experience across mobile, tablet and desktop
  • Identify growth opportunities and prioritize budgets, teams and resources accordingly
  • Manage agency relationships and ensure we drive value from our partners. This includes setting priorities, budgets and resourcing as a single point of contact for agency leads
  • Manage database marketing through automated tools, journeys and campaigns via HubSpot or another platform
  • Ensure our websites are market-leading, providing a best-in-class online experience
  • Build strong collaboration with Channel Development team to assess and support new innovative digital solutions
  • Assess technology and platform requirements and needs in partnership with IT and other stakeholders
  • Anticipate future platform, tech, and infrastructure needs of the digital commerce business and act upon these in a timely manner
  • Manage content, SEO and SEM strategy
  • Partner with marketing colleagues to deliver exceptional execution of strategy
  • Build cross-functional relationships and manage through influence
  • Develop and mentor a team, bringing out the best in your direct reports and other colleagues
  • Champion digital and eCommerce across broader organization, including but not limited to senior management and international teams

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong experience in e-commerce management including online management, sales, fulfillment, customer service, operations and logistics from a consumer or eCommerce business/industry.
  • Proven expertise in building the shape of new eCommerce business from the ground up.
  • High-level knowledge of enterprise level web platforms, web analytics and marketing tools/services and a strong understanding of eCommerce technology, payment process, and content management
  • Experience at a senior level digital marketing position, yet comfortable with hands-on execution
  • High attention to detail, and able to execute tasks with a sense of urgency
  • Proven budget management skills
  • Experience working with digital agencies, IT and e-commerce vendors and global marketing teams
  • Strong creative, analytical, and intuitive problem-solving skills
  • Strong people manager with a demonstrated track record of building, leading, coaching, developing, and retaining effective teams
  • An ability to navigate ambiguity and show flexibility in an ever changing digital environment
