We are a UAE-based trading and contracting company seeking a Senior Procurement & Pricing Officer to join our newly established office in Karachi, Pakistan.

The selected candidate will support our operations in the UAE and Iraq by handling industrial procurement, pricing, supplier communication, and preparation of technical/commercial offers.

This role requires strong experience in mechanical, electrical, industrial spare parts, pumps, valves, filters, pipes, fittings, and general MEP materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle RFQs, inquiries, sourcing and pricing for mechanical, electrical, industrial and oil & gas materials.
Identify, evaluate & communicate with local and international suppliers.
Prepare quotations, costing sheets, technical & commercial proposals.
Carry out technical comparison, data sheet review and market price analysis.
Manage supplier negotiations to obtain best prices and delivery terms.
Maintain & update vendor lists, pricing databases, and procurement logs.
Work on ERP systems (Zoho, SAP Ariba, QuickBooks, or similar) for entry and reporting.
Coordinate with UAE & Iraq teams regarding tenders and ongoing projects.
Prepare purchase orders, follow up deliveries, and document procurement transactions.
Support management in market research, sourcing strategies, and cost optimization.

Required Skills & Experience:

5–12 years experience in industrial procurement or technical purchasing.
Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical spare parts, pumps, valves, filters, fittings, and industrial equipment.
Experience working with UAE/GCC suppliers is a major plus.
Ability to analyze data sheets, product specifications, BOQs, and RFQs.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP Ariba, Zoho, QuickBooks, Oracle, etc.)
Excellent command of English (written & spoken).
Strong negotiation, communication, and technical evaluation skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, email drafting, and documentation.
Ability to work independently and manage procurement tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar fields preferred.
