- Assist the Manager Store in all aspects for store and procurement.
- Collect and review Purchase Demands / Queries from different Departments.
- To support supply chain department, locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogs, market research and the internet to gather information about products to be ordered.
- Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers. Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers.
- insure compliance of document trails for the store process
To exercise general control and planning space utilization over all general stores, packing stores, and finished goods stores.
- Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures to ensure availability of stock for all relevant departments and accountability of all good movement through factory premises.
- Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw materials to identify shortages. Ensure product stock is adequate for all divisions and cover direct demands from relevant departments
- Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory with relevant departments.
- Contact supply chain to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other issues.
- Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications as per PO.
- Monitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfer through store requisitions for bookkeeping purposes.
- Coordinates with the departments upon the completion of the purchase demands.
- Prepare Reports on Purchases including cost analysis.
Maintain and update records of Purchased goods, delivery information and invoices.
- Coordinate with the Manager stores and other store staff to create and inventory management plans.
- Acting on orders as given and instructed by the Manager Stores time to time. Have strong leadership skills to fill in as Manager stores when needed.
