DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execution of all new jobs either direct or through electricians/fitters.
- Attendance to maintenance operation and troubleshooting either direct or through electrician.
- Fixing duties of electricians and helpers in consultation with the assistant engineer.
- Preparation of material demand well in time for new works and maintenance.
- Adherence the provision of EL. Act 1910, rules 1937 and all other laws in vogue.
- Look after plant machinery.
- Responsible for repair and maintenance on the plant such as drawing machine, various blowers.
- Look after and maintenance of cooling water system, water pump, cooling tower, water softening plant etc.
- Look after and maintenance of batch plant various conveyors, elevators, batch mixer, batch feeder, etc.
- Maintenance of the top floor auxiliaries, such as vacuum pumps, cutting device, Glass handling system.
- Looking after maintenance workshops.
- Any other works which his seniors entrust him to do.
