HABIB LAW & Co is looking for a skilled Assistant Tax professional with at least one year of experience to support our tax department. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of tax preparation, compliance, and financial reporting, alongside proficiency in tax research and document management. This role requires a solid understanding of Income Tax and Sales Tax matters, with the ability to manage tax filings and correspondence independently. Familiarity with IRIS software and the entire tax filing process, including electronic filing, is essential to ensure timely and accurate compliance with applicable tax regulations. Responsibilities
- Preparation and filing of Income Tax returns through IRIS
- Handling of Sales Tax registration, returns, and compliance
- Managing withholding tax matters and statements
- Maintaining proper tax records and documentation

- Hands-on experience with IRIS portal
- Sound knowledge of Income Tax Ordinance and Sales Tax Act
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
