EHSAS is the Educational Help, Services and Academic Support Center. It comes from the Urdu word for feeling, sense, or realization. In keeping with its etymology, EHSAS prides itself on equipping students with a sense of confidence, a feeling of inspiration, and a renewed desire for academic accomplishment. We focus on individual development within a supportive, collaborative and student-centric learning space.
The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the daily administrative functioning of the EHSAS Center, including the monitoring of Peer Tutors and Teaching Assistants.
Working with students and faculty to identify learning needs in various areas
Assisting the Manage in designing requisite programs to address diverse learning needs
Hiring and supervising peer tutors;
Maintaining accurate and timely records of daily tutoring and administrative activities;
Conducting test review sessions, as well as skills workshops;
Creating, selecting, and developing instructional support materials that recognize and address individual student needs;
Meeting with instructors to provide assistance that meets individual student needs;
Participating in staff meetings and trainings;
Assisting with training and mentoring Peer Tutors;
Participating in and leading workshops;
Assisting with the day-to-day running of the center and related duties as assigned;
