Operations and Support Officer will provide administrative and operational support in various faculty services managed by the Office of Academic Operations. The support will range from faculty recruitment, on-boarding, travel and grant related services to coordination with relevant service departments within the University to provide support to faculty.
- Manage all the key administrative aspects of the services provided by the Office of Academic Operations
- Coordinate with the travel team to manage all the visa and travel related processes related to faculty
- Facilitate faculty members from outside Karachi in various aspects of on-boarding, including housing search, settling in the city and accessing different campus services
- Provide support to faculty members from outside Karachi in accessing basic services by coordinating with relevant vendors and service providers
- Assist the Academic Recruitment Lead in scheduling interviews, teaching talks and following up from faculty candidates
- Act as the primary resource person for coordination between faculty and other service departments such as Finance, IT and travel teams to respond to faculty needs; and
- Assist the senior members of the team in managing data and documentation produced by the Office of Academic Operations
