Job Description
- Part of a world-class team developing leading edge commerce platforms for a global audience
- Client management
- Work with a distributed team in several locations around the world
- Produce high quality code, on time and on target
- Engineer software through its complete life-cycle
- Research and understand product requirements to ensure successful beta test, product launch, etc.
- Participate in testing and system integration testing
Required Skills:
- 1-3 yearsEXPERIENCE in PHP, LAMP and Web programming
- Expert level skills in PHP, HTML/ XHTML5, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, jQuery
- Magento Developer Certificied
- Skilled in Linux, Apache, MySQL, Postgres
- Knowledge of PHP development framework(s)
- Experience in Object oriented development
- Advantageous to have experience with: Joomla / YooTheme / YooTheme Zoo / JomSocial / Mediawiki (from at least 1 would be a benefit)
- Experience in PHP based forum software would also be a benefit (phpBB, vBulletin, etc)
- SEO knowledge, Securing web URLs would be a benefit
- Good communication skills in English
- Experience working with Git, Sourceforge, CVS
- Experience with RedMine, ActiveCollab or other collaborative tools is an advantage
- Certifications in PHP and various database technologies is an advantage
