The WorkForce Planner will be specifically responsible for:    

  • Creating and maintaining staff schedules
  • Providing staff cover for sick leave, annual leave, and long-term leave
  • Scheduling service user appointments and visits according to care plans and staff availability
  • Entering scheduling data on the system and generating schedules
  • Contacting care workers and service users advising of any changes
  • Understanding the services to be provided and ensuring that service is provided as outlined in-service agreements
  • Ensuring that any urgent service requests are actioned and ensuring that service is delivered in line with care plans
  • Maintaining the staff and service user database, including service user admission, hospital admission and discharge
  • Accurately maintaining staff and service user records in order to generate statistics and reports
  • Maintaining call–in and retention report information and generating reports as required
  • Understanding and adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Keeping the Manager updated regarding any conflict in schedules
  • General office administration duties

Generic Duties:
