HandyBuilds is looking for a Senior WordPress and PHP Developer who is passionate about what he does and delivers work according to WordPress, Php and modern web standards. This role is mainly focused on backend development but having a good understanding of frontend page builders is a plus. The Ideal candidate should have the following skills: Must have skills:
- Coding solutions on top of WordPress standards and hooks
- Theme development from scratch
- Plugin development from scratch
- Adding custom features to websites
- Multisite experience
- 2+ years experience working on WooCommerce and it's subscriptions plugins
- WPML, ACF and Gravity Forms experience
- Strong Linux command
- Cloud hosting experience ( Google Cloud, Digital Ocean and AWS )
- Strong Analytical and debugging skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Fast learner and having an attitude of "LET ME DO IT"
- Strong knowledge of database design and architecture
- Strong knowledge of any latest JavaScript framework/library ( React preferred )
Responsibilities:
- Developing performant and scalable web applications
- Creating the website and database design architecture
- Converting clients requirements into full fledge websites using SLDC
- Coordinating and participating in the programming, planning, testing, and deployment phases of web-based projects
- Project management using Agile methodologies
- Managing junior devs and taking the best out of them as a project manager
- Use of modern technologies and providing stack suggestions for enterprise-level applications
- Exploring new technologies and building websites and web apps
