Job Description
Duties includes but not limited to:
- Patient demographic entries into billing system
- Claims creation with mapping of valid ICDs against CPTs
- Collection of accounts recievables by establishing payment arrangements with insurances and patients, monitoring payments; following up with insurance and patients.
- Payment posting through ERAs and manual paper EOBs.
- Utilize best Microsoft office Suite skills to evaluate and managing daily work flow efficiently.
- Calling to insurances in USA to get recovered accrued balances.
- Maintains work operations by following company policies and procedures, reporting to higher management (daily/weekly/monthly)
- Maintains quality results by following standards.
- Enhances billing department by accepting challenges for accomplishing new and different assignments
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Candidate must have great english communication skills (verbal and written)
- Candidates having experience in laboratory billing are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPTs would be great addon
- Hands on grip on dealing with healthcare insurance in USA
- Having min. bechelors degree (Graduate/Undergraduate)
