Haripur International Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) professional to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in providing high-quality patient care, particularly in managing critical patients with heart conditions. This role requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual proficient in clinical assessments, medication administration, and infection control protocols. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating care and educating patients to promote recovery and health maintenance. As part of this position, you will lead and manage a team of six nursing staff to ensure that all aspects of patient care meet the highest standards of the hospital. In this role, you will apply your expertise in electronic health records and sterilization techniques to maintain accurate patient documentation and uphold the hospitals infection control standards. You will play a crucial role in monitoring patient health, adhering to standard precautions and isolation procedures, and implementing infection control protocols to prevent the spread of disease. Working closely with other healthcare professionals, you will deliver compassionate care and support patients and their families through education and coordination of healthcare services. Your leadership will contribute to the efficient operation of the nursing team, fostering a collaborative and patient-focused environment.Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care with a focus on critical patients with heart conditions, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
- Perform accurate clinical assessments to monitor patient health and identify changes requiring intervention.
- Administer medications safely according to prescribed protocols and monitor their effects on patients.
- Maintain and update electronic health records accurately reflecting patient status, treatments, and responses.
- Implement and adhere to infection control protocols, sterilization techniques, and standard precautions to minimize the risk of infection.
- Coordinate care activities among healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient treatment and recovery plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication compliance, and preventive care to promote overall well-being.
- Monitor vital signs and other health indicators, promptly reporting any abnormalities to the medical team.
- Apply isolation procedures effectively to prevent cross-contamination in the healthcare setting.
- Ensure the sterilization of medical equipment following hospital policies and standards.
- Lead and manage a team of six nursing professionals, providing guidance and supervision to maintain high-quality care delivery.
- Conduct training and development sessions for nursing staff to enhance skills and knowledge in nursing best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and ethical standards in all nursing activities.
- Assist in emergency response and life support measures as required for critical patient care.
