1. To make account entries.
2. To make purchase requisitions.
3. To make purchase orders manually and on computer.
4. To maintain all record of purchase accordingly.
5. To print purchase orders.
6. To file all sort of documents in their respective files.
7. To distribute documents, papers etc. to all departments.
8. To go the market for survey and purchasing of items required by the hotel.
9. Attend departmental meetings to review procedures and events that warrant careful handling and detailed explanation.
10. Perform all such functions as may be incidental or ancillary to the above functions.
11. Perform any other function as may be assigned by the management.
12. Provide necessary feedback on all important activities to the Materials Manager
13. Abide by the policies, rules and regulations of the Hotel on various issues / matters and Marriott Standard Operating Procedures.
