2. She/he is also responsible for making the Restaurant operation a profitable one.

3.     Delegates responsibilities well.

4.     Develops a professional services team.

5.    Gives staff positive feedback on their job performance.

6.     Practice Open Door policy with his staff.

7. He is known as being fair and demanding in the job performance of his staff.

8.  He should be excellent trainer and conduct continues training sessions.

9. Continuously verifies that his guests are receiving the service outlined in the standard.

10. Communicates well with his guests upon their arrival and departure whenever possible.

11.   Ensures that his staffs know their product well and are able to suggest menu items to the guest. He also ensures that his staff learned up-selling techniques to result in higher average check.

12.   Encourages the Chef to communicate with the Restaurant guest.

13.   Ensure that Guest are always seated at clean and fully set up tables.

14.    Ensure that restaurant is impeccably clean.

15.  Ensure that the room is always at the right temperature, taking into consideration the guest comfort.

16.   Controls the expense.

17.    Creatively set up displays and buffets in accordance with      the Executive Chef’s specifications.

18.     Knows the actual budget figures for sales and costs.

19.      Personally greets guests upon their arrival and departure whenever possible
