Job Description

Training Needs Analysis and Planning

  • Identify training and development needs of staff throughout the organization using a training need analysis survey.
  • Produce a resourced annual training plan in coordination with department heads based on training needs identified for staff members and organizational aims and objectives

 Training Provision

  • Develop, co-ordinate and maintain a suite of in-house training courses, workshops etc to be delivered on a rolling programme, including induction and management skills courses.
  • Develop ad hoc training provision as required.
  • Oversees on-the-job training of the employees
  • Organizes and coordinates training of employees for courses conducted outside the hotel
  • Organizes the training programs in property arranged by corporate office
  • Carry out course evaluation and analysis and act on feedback where necessary to ensure high quality service provision and continuous improvement.
  • Commission and oversee delivery of training courses etc by external providers where appropriate, securing best value for money.
  • Participates in developing and implementing programs to ensure employee security and safety

 Training Delivery

  • Deliver in-house training courses, sessions and workshops and support delivery by head office when necessary.
  • Deliver and coordinate English Language Classes for the employees
  • Deliver guest courtesy training
  • Keep up to date with developments in training styles, techniques and resources to ensure appropriate and effective training delivery.

Staff Management

  • To support and manage the Training Coordinator
  • To develop Training coordinator

 General

  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
  • Reviews training policies, procedures and practices, recommends improvements to management
  • Develops and maintains hotel’s training library and coordinates acquisitions with training departments
  • Conducts orientation of newly hired managers
